Drive Belt: Service and Repair

Remove/Install Poly V-belt

Shown On Engine 112 In Model 203:

Remove
1 Slacken poly V-belt (1) and take off

NOTE: For this step swivel stud bolt (Fig. A early type, pos. 2) or hexagon (Fig. B late type, pos. 4) at tensioning pulley (3) counter clockwise. Lock tensioning pulley (3) with pin or drift (diameter 5mm).

Inspect
2 Inspect belt pulley sections and tensioning device for damage and dirt
3 Inspect the poly-V-belt (1)

Install
4 Fit on poly V-belt (1), tension, for mounting reference please refer to Diagrams/ Mechanical .


NOTE:
- Do not use belt wax or any similar products.
- Start in numerical order of the relevant running diagram at tensioning pulley (3), refer to: Running diagram of poly V-belt
