Component Identification:
1 Prepare holder (10) with a thickness of approx. 0.8 mm as per the dimensioning from a commercially available body repair panel.
Component Identification:
2 Roughen holder (10), prime using a spray can and paint in black matt.
The holder (10) must be dry and free of dust and grease before it is primed.
3 Glued felt strip (12) onto edge of holder (10).
4 Glue on GPS antenna (A2/23) according to the dimension (F) on the holder (10).

5 Secure antenna line (2) in place using felt strip (13).
6 Cut off bridge (7) flush with lamellas of grate (9) using a straight cutting blade with a blade length of 35 mm and a multicutter (8).

7 Unclip clips (3) and detach insulation mat (6) in lower area of engine hood.
8 Remove expansion rivets (5) and unclip cover (4) from engine hood.
9 Glue felt tape on brackets (14) of engine hood on both sides.
10 Remove screw/bolt (15) (no longer required).
11 Insert holder (10) with GPS antenna in direction of vent grille between brackets (14) of engine hood.
12 Fasten holder (10) using 4.8X19 mm tapping screw (16) and three plastic sleeves (24) at bracket (17) of engine hood.
The three plastic sleeves (24) are used as a spacer between holder (10) and bracket (17).
13 Remove expansion rivet (19).
14 Pull filler neck (20) from washer fluid reservoir.
15 Detach water trough drain hose (21) and put to one side.
16 Route antenna line (2) for GPS antenna (A2/23) along the existing lines and fix in place using cable ties.
17 Unclip coupling housing (23) from antenna line (2).
18 Press grommet (22) out from the interior.
19 Cut off free tab (24) of grommet (22) and route antenna line (2) through.
20 Seal antenna line (2) in grommet (22) with sealant.
21 Install grommet (22)
22 Clip coupling housing (23) onto antenna line.
23 Route antenna line (2) along the vehicle's wiring harness, starting at the grommet (22), into the radio recess and fix in place using cable ties.
Antenna line (2) will later be connected to radio control panel and navigation unit.
