- except CODE (P98) Black Series







DANGER!
Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.


1 Disconnect ground cable of battery
2 Remove left front road wheel
3 Remove inner liner in front fender

NOTE: Left, front and center fender liner.

4 Pull filler neck (2) out of washer fluid reservoir (1)
5 Unplug connectors (3, 4, 5)
6 Detach and seal hoses

CAUTION!
Careful, risk of cracks and fracture!


NOTE: Collect escaping window washer fluid in a suitable container.

7 Unclip clamp (6)
8 Expose cables and hoses
9 Unscrew the screws (7).
10 Take off washer fluid reservoir (1)
11 Remove heater
- For code (875) heated windshield washer system

CAUTION!
Ensure that cover is correctly seated on washer fluid reservoir (1).


12 Install in the reverse order
13 Windshield washer system - inspect fluid level, adjust to correct level
14 Perform basic programming
15 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase
16 Check for proper function
