AR82.35-P-6980Q Remove/Install Windshield Washer Hose
- except CODE (P98) Black Series







DANGER!
- Risk of injury to fingers being jammed or squeezed when removing and installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/tailgate or sliding roof.
- When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.
- Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.


1 Disconnect ground cable of battery
2 Open engine hood
3 Remove inner liner in front fender

NOTE: Left, front and center fender liner.

4.1 Disconnect washer nozzle hose heater connector (X88/7)
- For code (875) heated windshield washer system
5 Unplug washer fluid hose (2) and seal off

CAUTION!
Careful, risk of cracks and fracture!


NOTE: Escaping window washer fluid must be collected in a suitable container.

6 Remove air induction grille
7 Press T-piece (4) out of left windshield washer nozzle (7)

CAUTION!
Careful, risk of cracks and fracture!


8 Push elbow (6) out of right windshield washer nozzle (5)

CAUTION!
Careful, risk of cracks and fracture!


9 Expose washer fluid hose (2) and remove

NOTE: Open cable duct (3).

10 Install in the reverse order
11 Perform basic programming
12 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase
13 Check for proper function
14 Correct fluid level of windshield washer system
