AR67.30-P-4200-04Q Fine Adjustment Of Rear Side Window

Test Values For Rear Side Window:

Side Windows:

1. Deactivate short stroke lowering; for this purpose remove left door contact switch (S17/3) and/or right door contact switch (S17/4).
2. Disconnect coupling.
3. Remove rubber grommets.







4. Loosen bolts (1).
5. Slide rear side window (2) upward until stay is located approx. 1.5 mm in roof seal.
Simultaneously adjust gap between door and rear side window (2) to 8.0 mm at top and bottom.

6. Tighten bolts (1) hand-tight.
7. Lower rear side window (2) and move up.
8. Check gap pattern, correct if necessary.
8+1 mm at top and bottom. If gap pattern cannot be reached, loosen rear side window height stops (2) (tension on window is released and window moves into position).

9. Remove rubber grommets.
10. Loosen bolts (3) for stops.
11. Press stops downward until a resistance can be felt.
12. Tighten bolts (3) for stops. [Nm]
13. Tighten bolts (1). [Nm]
14. Install left door contact switch (S17/3) and/or right door contact switch (S17/4)
15. Insert coupling.
