AR72.10-P-1950-03Q Adjustment Of The Preload On The Front Window

Modification notes:

Front Door:

1. Remove grommets.
2. Loosen nuts (1, 2) for front and rear power window rails at door bottom.
3. When front door is open, adjust preload in relation to roof frame by displacing the rear power window rail and tighten nut (1) (observe torque).
4. Tighten nut (2) of front guide rail (observe torque).







Move the rear power window rail so that, when the window runs up the inner edge of window, it runs flush into the reference edge (arrow) of the roof seal.

5. Carry out visual inspection of the glass run in the roof frame seal and repeat the process if necessary.
6. Fit grommets.
