Multicontour Seat Control Valve Switch Knob Broken





If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles regarding the multicontour seat control valve switch knob being broken, the knob (Figure 1) is now available separately from the switch/valve body. In this case, only the knob should be replaced. The knob can be replaced without removing the switch/valve or the seat. Simply pull upwards on the knob. When installing the new knob, take note that it is not symmetrical. One side is convex (Figure 1, arrow) and the other side is concave. To install the new knob, push it firmly downwards.

NOTE:
This repair is non-time claimable under Group 91. Maximum time allowed is 0.1 hrs. with a separate time punch
