AR35.20-P-0116-01B Remove/install supporting joint on wheel carrier

Component Identification:





Remove
1 Pull supporting joint (7a) out of wheel carrier (7) using removal and installation tool (06c, 06h, 7i) and remove.

The recess in the counter sleeve (06i) must face outwards to the wheel carrier.

Component Identification:





Install
2 Attach removal and installation tool (06c, 06h, 06i) with supporting joint to wheel carrier (7).
3 Pull supporting joint (7a) into wheel carrier from behind using removal and installation tool





Wheel carrier with surfaces machined on both sides

The supporting joint must protrude the same distance on both sides (centrally from boss).
Wheel carrier with chamfer

The supporting joint outer sleeve must fit flush with the chamfer of the small dia. on the wheel carrier (arrows).
