Rubber bushing in transverse link, removal and installation













To press out rubber bushing





1. Mark relative positions of rubber bushing (29d) and transverse link (29).
2. Use extraction and insertion tool to press out rubber bushing.

Push in rubber mount





3. Make corresponding alignment mark on new rubber bushing (29d).
4. Position chamfer on rubber bushing (29d) against chamfer on transverse link (29).
The slot in the rubber bushing (29d) must align with the longitudinal axis of the transverse link (29).
5. Press in rubber bushing (29d) with extraction and insertion tool (08, 09), continuing until the shoulder of the extraction/installation tool (09) is flush with the transverse link (29). When installing the rubber bushing (29d) take care to ensure that it does not twist.
