1. Check manufacture date on all catalytic converters:

^ For models 203, 209, 211, 230 proceed to step 2.

^ For model 215 proceed to step 3.

Note:
^ Use an inspection mirror if necessary.








^ The date can found under the "ZEUNA STARKER" inscription (Figure 2 and 3).

2. For models 203, 209, 211, 230, perform one of the following depending on results of step 1 inspection:

Note:
The date is imprinted in the DD.MM.YY (Figure 2) format.

^ If manufacture date is between (DD.MM.YY format) 01.02.04 and 30.04.04:

Proceed to step 4 to replace affected catalytic converter(s).

^ If manufacture date is not between (DD.MM.YY format) 01.02.04 and 30.04.04:

This Campaign has been completed, no catalytic converter replacement necessary.

3. For model 215 perform one of the following depending on results of step 1 inspection:

Note:
The date is imprinted in the MM YY (Figure 3) format.

^ If manufacture date is as of (MM YY format) 02 04 up to and including 04 04:

Proceed to step 4 to replace affected catalytic converter(s).

^ If manufacture date is not (MM YY format) 02 04 up to and including 04 04:

This Campaign has been completed, no catalytic converter replacement necessary.

4. Replace affected catalytic converter(s); refer to WIS documents AR49.10-P-5500* and AR49.10-P-5531*.

Note:
* Ensure to refer to the correct WIS documents based on vehicle and model year/VIN cutoff.
