GF82.10-P-3001Q Parking Lamp Actuation, Function

Component Identification:

Function sequence
If the exterior lamp switch (S1s1) in the light switch module (S1) is turned to the left or right parking lamp position, it transmits the "left parking lamp on" or "right parking lamp on" message to the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) via the class B (interior) Controller Area Network Bus (CAN-B).

Left parking lamp ON
The front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) actuates the standing lamp and parking lamp (E1e3) in the left front lamp unit (E1) and simultaneously transmits the message "left parking lamp on " to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) via CAN-B. This then actuates the left taillamp and parking lamp (E3e2).

Right parking light ON
The front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) actuates the standing lamp and parking lamp (E2e3) in the right front lamp unit (E2), and simultaneously transmits the message "right parking lamp on" to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) via CAN-B. This then actuates the right taillamp and parking lamp (E4e2).

In vehicles with code (550) trailer hitch the "left parking lamp ON" or "right parking lamp ON" message is transmitted by the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) to the trailer recognition control unit (N28/1), which actuates the 13-pin trailer hitch socket (X58).
