The activated charcoal filter consists of a large quantity of so- called splitter adsorbers which are distributed evenly across an air- permeable base mat. They constantly adsorb odors and pollutants and release them again after a while in very low concentrations. Both fresh air and recirculated air is filtered.

When the activated charcoal filter is under operation the blower speed is slightly raised. The activated charcoal filter can be cut in manually using the activated charcoal filter button or automatically via the C-AAC [K KLA] multifunction sensor (B31).
