Blower Motor: Service and Repair

AR83.25-P-1200Q Remove/Install Blower Motor







DANGER:
- Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury with caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

1 Disconnect ground cable of battery
2 Remove glove compartment
3 Remove cover below instrument panel
4 Unscrew bolts (1)
5 Detach coupling of blower regulator (A32n1)
6 Expose cable to blower motor (A32m1)
7 Withdraw blower motor (A32m1) with blower regulator (A32n1)

CAUTION: Do not place blower motor (A32m1) on fan wheel.

8 Install in the reverse order
9 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase
10 Perform basic programming.
