Function
The AAC [KLA] control and operating unit (N22) (on vehicles without code (581b) comfort automatic air conditioning) or the comfort AAC (C-AAC [K-KLA]) control and operating unit (N22/7) (on vehicles with code (581b) comfort automatic air conditioning) forwards a control signal of 0% to 100% to the blower regulator (A32n1) via the A/C bus. This regulates the operating voltage for the blower motor (A32m1) depending on the control signal. This facilitates control of the blower speed from 0 to 100 %.
In order to keep the windows free from misting up and to hold the interior temperature level, the blower output is increased by a maximum of 15 % at outside temperatures of +7 �C to -25 °C and a coolant temperature of > 40 °C.
On model 209.4, while driving with an open soft top, the standard blower level is set to 27% regardless of the footwell position and increased when driving with a closed soft top.
The blower regulator (operating voltage) is influenced by the following factors:

^ Terminal 15 (blower ON), starter running (blower OFF)
