AR42.10-P-2260-01I Clean Perforations In Brake Disk

Clean perforations in brake disk

The perforated brake disk (61 ) can clog due to brake abrasion. For this reason the disk should be cleaned.

1. Clear brake dust from holes in brake disk (61 ) using a suitable drift.
If the holes in the brake disk (61 ) cannot be cleaned with a suitable drift, drill it out with a 4.3 mm dia. drill bit.
The perforations in the brake disk (61 ) must not be made larger by drilling. (Do not cut shavings off the brake disk.)
