Preparation
Component Identification:
1. Mark with adhesive tape (2) (TESA crepe) on outer left and right, from top of trunk lid (3) to front edge of rear spoiler and in center, from edge of trunk lid to front edge of rear spoiler.

2. Detach protective foil (4) approx. 100 mm on outer left and right, pull protective foil (4) completely off of short back of adhesive tape.

3. Loosen protective foil in area of center high-mounted stop lamp (cutout in rear spoiler) 100 mm from center.
The area on the trunk lid to be glued must be free of dust and grease. To clean use a 50 : 50 mixture of IPA (iso-propanol alcohol) and water.
Installation
4. Center rear spoiler (1) on center high-mounted stop lamp (E21) and position area with foil removed on marking (2) (TESA masking tape).
Ensure that rear spoiler is seated correctly on marks Check measurement if required.
5. Carefully pull protective foil (4) off of front edge of rear spoiler starting at center and firmly press on rear spoiler (1) from center toward outside.
Remove air bubbles from adhesive foil by firmly pressing from inside toward outside Ensure that rear spoiler is seated correctly on marks.Check measurement if required.
2 Markings
6. Carefully pull protective foil (4) out at bottom edge of rear spoiler (1) starting at center and firmly press rear spoiler (1).
After positioning, the rear spoiler must be pressed down firmly along the entire bonding surface.
7. To increase process safety during installation of rear spoiler (1), press spoiler onto trunk lid (3) with a 3M load roller (5) starting at one side.
When pressing on ensure that the pressure is applied directly on the adhesive tape
The maximum adhesive force is reached after approx. 72 hours at 20 °C. Do not use carwash within 24 hours and do not perform rain test Prevent any mechanical stress.
