AR88.30-P-1000-03Q Prepare Body Flange For Gluing In Spare Tire Well

Special Tools:

1. Clean painted bonding surface on body flange with cleaning cloth from cleaning set (Betaclean 3300) and dry with drying cloth included in cleaning set.
2. Cut remaining adhesive material off of body flange with cutting blade

Do not leave more than 2 mm of the remaining adhesive. Pull off loose adhesive material (remaining pieces which are not completely cut off).

3. If remaining adhesive material on body flange is damaged or missing apply primer (Betaprime 5061) in area to be glued.

Allow primer to air-dry for a minimum of 10 minutes.

4. Repair paint damages on body flange not covered by adhesive material with primer stick

In order to prevent adhesion faults when gluing in, the bonding surfaces on the body flange must be free of dust, oil, grease, wax and other dirt particles.
