AR63.10-P-0696-03Q Install Cross Member Reinforcement Below Rear Seat
(Model 209.3, In the renewing of the B column completely)

Special Tools:

Repair Materials:

1. Install cross member below rear seat, inner and outer B-pillar with side portal frame, check and welding gauges and clamping pliers, adapt and fasten.

Use spacer plate.

Distance between cross member below rear seat and reinforcement tube for the outer B-pillar at least 2 mm (arrow).

2. Remove inner and outer B-pillar with side portal frame and check and welding gauges.







3. Drill 6.5 mm dia. rivet holes (areas A and B).
4. Remove cross member below front seat and deburr rivet holes on both sides.







5. Install cross member below front seat and fasten with clamping pliers and screw-on clamping grippers.
6. Continuous weld cross member below rear seat (areas C, D and E).
7. Rivet cross member below rear seat with 6.4 x 14 mm dia. Polygrip flat head rivets (area A and B).
