DANGER!
Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury with caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and goggles. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

1 Disconnect ground cable of battery
2 Unclip center nozzle cover (1)
- See Special Tools below

3 Unplug coupling (2) and remove center nozzle cover (1)
4 Unclip and remove center cockpit speaker (Centerfill) (H4/27)

NOTE: Press detent lug outwards.

5 Install in the reverse order
6 Perform basic programming
7 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase
8 Check for proper function
