Fire Suppression System: Service and Repair

1. Screw 4.8x13 bolts (1) into recesses (2) and then back out again with offset screwdriver.

Do not remove connectors on seats. Ensure that electrical leads on seat are not damaged.







2. Insert mounting bracket (3) into seat shell with adjustment lug (4)
3. Fasten mounting bracket (3) in holes (2) previously drilled by screwing in 4.8 x 13 (1) bolts.
4. Install clip fasteners (7) on mounting bracket (3) (see figure)







5. Punch holes into upper holes (5) of mounting bracket (3) into sheet metal with a punch (6) and fasten mounting bracket (3) to seat shell with 4.8 x 13 m bolts (1).

Make approx. dia. 3 mm holes with punch dia. so that bolts catch when screwed in.







6. Install bracket (8) in mounting bracket (3).

The lug (see arrow) on the mounting bracket (3) should be visible in the bracket (8).

7. Fasten bracket (8) to mounting bracket (3) with 4.8 x 16 bolts (11) and sheet metal countersunk washers.







8. Insert fire extinguisher (9) into bracket (8) and fasten with retraining strap (10).
