Terminating a call
If a call has been made using the telephone handset (A34) or the portable CTEL (A34/6), there are a number of ways of terminating the call.
^ Placing the telephone handset (A34) or the portable CTEL (A34/6) into the cradle.
^ Pressing the hang-up button on the telephone handset (A34) or the portable CTEL (A34/6).

If a call has been made using the handsfree system, there are also a number of ways of terminating the call.
^ Pressing the hang-up button on the telephone handset (A34) or the portable CTEL (A34/6).
^ Picking up and replacing the telephone handset (A34) (fixed installation) or the portable CTEL (A34/6).
^ On vehicles with a voice control system code (813): pressing the VCS switch (S93/2).
^ Using the accept/terminate phone call button (S111s3) in the multifunction steering wheel.

Shutting off
Pressing the Off button on the telephone handset (A34) or the portable CTEL (A34/6) and then removing the card disables the device. During this operation ensure that the card is removed only with the unit switched off in order to prevent destruction of the chip on the SIM card (Subscriber Identification Module).
