1. Check bottom rear-end door window for scratches and damage.
2. Fit rear-end door window.
3. Roughen gluing area (A) with abrasive paper with a grain size of P800.
Sand carefully to prevent sanding through the paint.

4. Evacuate grinding dust.
Wet/dry vacuum cleaner

5. Clean lower rear-end door window with cleaning cloth and rub dry with dry cloth.
Cleaning rag and drying rag are included in the cleaning set.

6. Apply activate in gluing area.
Observe processing instructions for activator to prevent adhesion problems with the adhesive material when gluing in.

7. Thoroughly shake glass primer and apply to bottom rear window in gluing area (A).
Observe processing instructions for primer to prevent adhesion problems with the adhesive material when gluing in.

8. Guide nozzle of adhesive cartridge along adhesion surface on rear-end door cover and apply an approx. 13 mm high bead of adhesive material.
Cartridge gun

Remove nozzle stop in repair kit. Do not apply glue too thick in area of center high-mounted stop lamp, otherwise glue can ooze out. Apply lower adhesive bead sparingly in center, leave 20 mm free to outer edge, otherwise glue can ooze out.
Completely press out glue residues immediately following application (disposal).

9. Center lower rear-end door window together with aid of helper, install and secure against slipping off with adhesive tape.
The curing time (time before vehicle is driven) is approx. 1 hour from the time the rear-end door window is installed.
