GF07.10-P-1027D Partial Load/Full Load Operation, Function

GF07.10-P-1027D Partial Load/Full Load Operation, Function
- up to model year 08

Component Identification:

Partial load operation:
When the engine is at operating temperature, optimal exhaust emission values and low-cost fuel consumption are assured with the lambda control.

Full load operation
The maximum engine torque is supplied when the throttle valve is fully open. Here the injection time is extended appropriately, the injection pressure increased and the air recirculation flap closed (maximum boost pressure).

The engine receives (performance map dependent) the respective fuel quantity allocated by the ME-SFI [ME] control unit.

About 10 to 90% of the slewing range on the accelerator pedal sensor is partial load and more than about 90% of the slewing range is defined as full load.

The fuel quantity depends on:
^ Air mass
^ Intake manifold air pressure
^ Coolant temperature
^ Engine speed
^ Engine loading request
^ Lambda control
^ Intake air temperature (only in warming-up phase)
^ Atmospheric air pressure (for altitude adaptation)
