Pull in timing chain of Lanchester balancer













1 Connect new timing chain (4) and old timing chain (3) with theme assembly clip-type fastener (5), the assembly outer plate (5.1) and the assembly locking element (5.2).

2 Slowly turn the crankshaft in the direction of rotation of the engine and pull in the new timing chain (4) until the ends can be connected. m When pulling in the new timing chain (4) keep the old timing chain (3) under tension and pull out evenly (arrow).

3 After pulling in remove assembly locking element (5.2), assembly outer plate (5.1 ) and assembly clip-type fastener (5).Place old timing chain (3) to the side.
