1 Remove the three transport securing devices on the underside of the CD player with changer (in the glove compartment) (A2/6) as per the instructions.
2 Seal openings in transport securing devices using enclosed stickers (enlarged detail).
3 Slide the CD player with changer (in the glove compartment) (A2/6) into the bracket (5) (arrow) and tighten securely with four M4 x 6 screws (6).
4 Connect the wiring harness for the fiber optic cable (1) and the wiring harness for the voltage supply (2) to the CD player with changer (in glove compartment) (A2/6).
Risk of breakage. Do not kink fiber optic cable, and do not route over sharp edges or bend in radii smaller than 25 mm. Tensile forces on inserts must not exceed 65 N. Do not squeeze fiber optic cable and do not compress with clamps or cable ties.
5 Route the wiring harness for fiber optic cable (1) and the wiring harness for the voltage supply (2) between the CD player with changer (in glove compartment) (A2/6) and bracket (3) as shown.

6 Slide the CD player with changer (in glove compartment) (A2/6) with the fastening shackle on the left side (arrow) into the existing fixing hole in the glove compartment.
7 Screw on CD player with changer (in the glove compartment) (A2/6) using an M5 16 sheet metal screw (arrow).
