Function
The power windows make it possible to open and close the front and rear side windows.

There are two types of operations possible:
- Manual raising/lowering
- Automatic raising/lowering

Function via driver power window switch group (S20/1)
In the driver power window switch group (S20/1) the left power window switch (S20/1s1) and the right power window switch (S20/1s2) are integrated. They allow to operate the power windows on the driver and passenger side.

Function with passenger power window switch (S21/2)
It is only possible to operate the power windows of the passenger side with the passenger power windows switch(S21/2).

NOTE:
- The rear side windows can only be opened/closed, if the front side windows are fully opened/closed. The same switches are operated as for the front side windows. The rear side windows are fully opened automatically and can only be closed again manually.
- The short stroke function ensures trouble-free opening and closing of the doors and of the frameless side windows. When the driver or passenger door is open, the relevant front and rear window is lowered by the short stroke position. So long as the short stroke is active, it is not possible to move the window up beyond the short stroke position, or to close it, also not with an operate request of the driver power window switch group (S20/1).
- All four side windows can be opened and closed with the remote control key (A8/1) using the convenience feature function.

All side windows can be closed and opened again using the recirculated air button of the AAC pushbutton control module (N22).
