Manual Raising/Lowering of Power Windows, Function
Manual Raising/Lowering Of Power Windows, Function
Function requirements:
- No overvoltage or undervoltage
- Circuit 15 ON or circuit 15R ON
Manual raising/lowering (irrespective of whether Vario roof is closed/opened)
Front door windows
This function is activated by pressing or pulling a switch of the driver power window switch group (S20/1) or the passenger power window switch (S21/2) up to the 1st detent point in direction open or close.
The relevant left door control module (N69/1) or right door control module (N69/2) reads in the switch status and actuates the relevant left front power window motor (M10/3) or right front power window motors (M10/4).
Rear windows
The rear side windows can only be opened or closed, if the front side windows are fully opened or closed.
The same switches are operated as for the front windows. It is of no importance, if the switches are pressed or pulled to the 1st or 2nd detent.
Only manual raising is possible for the rear windows.
The request for manual closing is read-in by the left door control module (N69/1) or right door control module (N69/2) and transmitted to the RVC control module (N52) as a CAN message.
The left rear power window motor (M10/5) and/or the right rear power window motor (M10/6) are then operated by the RVC control module (N52).
Power window motors
The power window motors are actuated only as long as the respective switch is operated or the corresponding control module has recognized the position of the window as being fully closed or opened.
Function abort
The manual raising/lowering function is interrupted, if the function prerequisites are no longer fulfilled.
