Indicator Lamp In Vario Roof Switch, Purpose

The Vario roof indicator lamp (N72e3) in the Vario roof switch (N72s16) serves as status indicator and function check for the Vario roof system and is actuated by the UVS control module (N52).
The Vario roof indicator lamp (N72e3) acts as follows:

Continuous light when actuating the switch:
- When circuit 15 "ON" and the stop function is active.
- While actuating the UVS hydraulic unit (A7/5).

Continuous light when switch is not actuated:
- For at least one second after ignition "ON" or until circuit 61 "ON" (function check)
- When UVS control module (N52) circuit 15 signals "ON" and the Vario roof is not in the locked position.

Flashing tight when switch is actuated:
Flashing frequency = 1 Hz:
- When driving (V > 5 km) and when Vario roof is not closed.
- In the event of interruption or non-actuation of the Vario roof procedure due to absence of input values or incorrect values

Flashing light when switch is not actuated:
- When driving and when Vario roof is not properly locked (flashing frequency = 1 Hz).
- 15 sec. before stop function has expired

NOTE: The stop function is active for at least 7n minutes.
