Sudden Wind Noise at Rear Window





If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of a sudden wind noise in the area of the upper edge of the rear window starting at approximately 62 mph, check for correct adjustment of the C-pillar lock. If this is not correctly adjusted, it may cause the Vano Roof to be pulled up in the area of the upper edge of the rear window (Figure 1, A) at speeds of approximately 62 mph or faster. The adjustment procedure for the C-pillar lock (Figure 1, B) can be found in WIS document no. AR77.50-P-3045R.
