NOTE: The optical warning message is given by the Vario roof indicator lamp (N72e3) integrated into the Vario roof switch (N72s16).

In the event of an erroneous Vario roof sequence and locked end position, the status of the Vario roof indicated as follows on the instrument cluster:
- "Vario roof open" and symbol "Vario roof opened"
- "Vario roof close" and symbol "Vario roof closed"
