AR72.10-P-1950-04Q Preadjustment Of Front Window
DANGER: Risk of injury due to hands being crushed when window glass is not secure
Secure window to prevent it from falling down.

Test And Adjustment Values For Front Door:

Special Tool:
1. Fit bolt (1) of the guide rail (do not tighten).
2. Insert gap gage from above into window guide rail (see arrows).
3. Slide window toward front in direction of gap gauge.
4. Move aluminum wedge (3) at rear driver of guide rail into lower position, then tighten screw (1).
If the wedge is moved upward, the window continues to tilt toward the inside at the top.
5. Move plastic wedge (4) at front mount into lower position. The door window must be positioned centrally in the guide rail, then tighten bolt (5).
If the wedge is moved upward, the window continues to tilt toward the inside at the top.
6. Remove gap gage
Measure Y-position of the window.
Dimension (c): Measure distance between outside surface of window to inside area of window edge reinforcement at the height of the SRS badge.
An additional adjustment possibility is the adjustment screw (1) with socket below the SRS badge.
