AR41.10-P-0200P Replacing Centering Sleeve







DANGER:
- Risk of fatal accident if the vehicle slips off the lifting platform
- Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

1 Remove propeller shaft
2 Mark flexible coupling (12) relative to three-arm flange (1) and detach

NOTE: Check flexible coupling (12) for damage and replace if necessary.

CAUTION: Replace nut (14), washer (13) and bolt (11).

3 Loosen fitted sleeves in flexible couplings.
4 Separate front and rear propeller shafts at slide connection

NOTE: Installation: Coat splined profile with Molykote grease.

5 Check centering sleeves (10) in front and rear propeller shafts

NOTE: If the sealing lip in the centering sleeve (10) is worn or damaged, the centering sleeve can be replaced separately.

6 Remove centering sleeve (10)

NOTE: After checking: Installation: Press in centering sleeve.

7 Fill cavities in both centering sleeves with grease
8 Install in the reverse order
