Cellular Telephone: V60s Locks Up

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles where the V60s cellular telephone exhibits the below symptoms, replace the phone with the following part number BQ 682 0949 V60s Cellular Telephone Spare.

1. Phone will not respond to any button presses (lock-up)

2. Head Unit will not switch to Telephone mode when TEL button is pressed.





3. Phone displays "Alarm: Loud" when flip is closed (see Figure 1)

4. Phone can not be turned OFF, either through Head Unit or on handset

5. Removing and reinserting battery is the only way to fully restore phone function.
