GF91.60-P-4107-02QM Belt Tension Sensor, Task

GF91.60-P-4107-02QM Belt Tension Sensor, Task
- as of 1.6.04
- with CODE (494a) USA version

The belt tension sensor (B48/3) measures the tension at the seat belt. The WSS (Weight Sensing System) control unit (N2/13) reads in the signal from the belt tension sensor (B48/3) over a discrete line. Using this data and the data from the pressure sensor (B48/4), it performs a classification that allows it to then differentiate between a person and a child seat.

Any work on the belt tension sensor (B48/3) and the WSS (Weight Sensing System) control unit (N2/13) must only be done with "Circuit 15C OFF"; otherwise, the calibration of the WSS (Weight Sensing System) control unit (N2/13) will be influenced, which could cause the system to make incorrect evaluations.
