With Generic Scan Tool

As per legal requirements, this vehicle is equipped with a generic scan tool (OBD II) connector which can be used to read and erase diagnostic trouble codes. The OBD II connector is located in the passenger compartment in the driver's footwell.

Follow the scan tool manufacturer's instructions for reading and erasing DTC's.

NOTE: Observe all system specific instructions listed in the "Preparation for Test" section of each Test Program.

Diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's) which have been stored due to testing or the disconnection of lines must be erased from the diagnostic trouble code memory at the end of testing.

NOTE: DTC readout is NOT possible using the impulse counter scan tool.
