Lifting up at the front

In order to avoid damage to the steering, under no circumstances should the vehicle be raised at the rear cross traverse

1 Position inspection pit lift or workshop jack at the jacking up sockets (1m) of the front cross traverse of the front axle carrier (1).
2 Raise vehicle.

Vehicles with 4MATIC
If the front engine compartment cover is mounted,
- a flat cap for the assembly lift/vehicle jack must be used, or
- a suitable base must be placed on the bent cap,
otherwise the front engine compartment cover will be damaged.







Raising vehicle at rear
1 Position inspection pit lift or workshop jack at the rear axle center assembly.
2 Raise vehicle.
