DANGER:
- Risk of explosion through welding or soldering work on the connected air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning through inhalation of overheated refrigerant vapor. Risk of injury through skin and eye contact with refrigerant liquid
- Do not perform any welding work on the connected air conditioning system nor in its immediate vicinity. No smoking and naked flame. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves, and work in well-ventilated areas only. Repair work to be performed on air conditioning system's circuit only after system has been drained.


CAUTION: Protect circuit and components in air conditioning system from moisture when performing repair work.

1 Open engine hood
2 Drain air conditioning system (recycling), evacuate, charge

CAUTION: Put drained off oil quantity back into refrigerant circuit when charging air conditioning system (use new oil).

- Note additional oil filling capacity after changing any parts
Rectify oil level in air conditioning system after changing any parts.

- Air conditioning extractor, conditioning and charging device for refrigerant R134a

3 Terminate air conditioning extractor, conditioning and charging device for refrigerant R134a

4 Unscrew service valve (2)
- Service valve to screw plugs: 6 N.m

5 Remove desiccant cartridge

CAUTION: Installation: the desiccant cartridge has to be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened. Note additional oil filling capacity after changing any parts.

6 Install in the reverse order.
