Blower Motor Resistor: Service and Repair



AR83.25-P-1220Q Remove/Install Electronic Blower Control Unit







DANGER:
- Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury with caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.


1 Disconnect ground cable of battery
2 Remove blower motor (A32m1)

CAUTION: Do not place blower motor (A32m1) on fan wheel.

3 Remove plugs (1)
4 Remove screws under plugs (1)
5 Remove blower motor

NOTE: Withdraw blower motor (A32m1) in direction of arrow on housing (2).

6 Unscrew screws (3)
7 Remove blower regulator (A32n1)
8 Detach coupling (4)

NOTE: Remove coupling (4) from blower motor (A32m1).

9 Install in the reverse order
10 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase
11 Perform basic programming.
