Auxiliary Cabin Heater Transmitter: Testing and Inspection

Component Identification:
1. Detach antenna line (1)
2. Disconnect coupling (2)
The STH radio remote control receiver (A6/1) must be de- energized for at least 120 s before it can be reprogrammed.
3. Connect coupling (2) and within 5 s press the button (OFF) on the STH radio remote control transmitter (A8/3) until the light emitting diode above the button (ON) lights up.
During transmission, the STH radio remote control transmitter (A8/3) must be positioned at least 2 m away from the vehicle antenna. If this is not possible, the transmitter antenna must be shielded in your hand.
4. Connect antenna line (1)
5. STH heater unit (A6) can be switched on with the button (ON) on the STH radio remote control transmitter (A8/3).
If the time window is not reached, the process must be repeated from the beginning. (It may be necessary to deenergize the STH radio remote control transmitter (A6/3) for longer than 120 s!) In addition to this a maximum of 2 extra STH radio remote control transmitters (A8/3) can be programmed on one STH heater unit (A6)!.
