Opening sequence on 1, 2 or 4 piston brake calipers on front axle

Opening sequence for 6-piston brake calipers on front axle
1 Adjust bleeding pressure at brake fluid changing unit to 2.0 bar.
2 Remove dust caps of bleed screws (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) on the brake calipers.
3 Open bleed screw (1) and allow approx. 80 cm3 of brake fluid to flow out via the bleed hose.

New brake fluid must flow out free of bubbles

4 Close bleed screw (1) and pull off bleed hose.
5 Repeat process at the bleed screws (2, 3, 4, 5, 6).

The numbering of the bleed screws (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) simultaneously represents the opening sequence.

6 Vehicles with manual transmission:

Remove cover from bell housing and repeat process at the bleed screw of the central clutch release bearing.

7 Attach dust caps of bleed screws (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) and cover to bell housing.
