Excess Lift Control Function for Tilting/Sliding Roof

As of the above production cut offs, the tilting/sliding roof now incorporates an excess lift control feature similar to that on the 215 and 220 model vehicles. With this feature, when closing the roof from the open position using the one-touch feature, the roof closes, stops and then briefly tilts up and closes again. Closing from the tilt up position can reduce wind noise with the roof closed and while driving at high speeds.

In cases where the overhead control panel (OCP, N70) needs to be replaced, the excess lift control function must be reprogrammed using SDS as the default configuration for spare parts is to have the excess lift control feature inactive.
