Risk of breakage: Do not kink or stretch fiber optic cables and do not route them over sharp edges. The bending radius must not be smaller than 25 mm. Clamps or cable ties for securing the fiber optic cables must not be fastened too tightly.

1 Release lock (see arrow) on MOST coupling housing (21) and remove MOST coupling housing (21) from MOST coupling (24) of MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20).

The MOST coupling housing (21) is no longer required.







2 Unclip blue retaining clip (25) from MOST coupling (24).

It must be ensured that the MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20) is fitted in contact cavity 1 (input) (see arrow). If this is not the case, move the MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20) from contact cavity 2 to contact cavity 1. The blue retaining clip (25) is still required.










3 Remove on-board MOST coupling (26) from fiber optic cable connector (45).
4 Remove blue retaining clip (25) from MOST coupling (26).
5 Remove on-board MOST fiber optic cable (27) from contact cavity 2 (output) of on-board MOST coupling (26).
6 Fit free end of MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20) in contact cavity 2 (output) of on-board MOST coupling (26).
7 Fit on-board MOST fiber optic cable (27) in contact cavity 2 (output) of MOST coupling (24) of MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20).
8 Fit blue retaining clip (25) in on-board MOST coupling (26) and MOST coupling (24) of MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20).
9 Fit on-board MOST coupling (26) in fiber optic cable connector (45).
10 Fit MOST coupling (24) of MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20) in connector (63) of SDAR wiring harness.

The connector (63) is connected to the SDAR control unit at a later stage.

11 Route MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20) as per picture and fix in place on on-board wiring harnesses.
