In the event of any drop in performance or destruction to the telephone antenna (A2/22) the emergency call system left backup antenna (A2/54) and emergency call system right backup antenna (A2/55) are accessed.
The selection and decision, whether and which antenna is to be used for the emergency call, is made by the D2B telephone and TELE AID transmitter/receiver (A35/17).

The signals received by the emergency call system left backup antenna (A2/54) and emergency call system right backup antenna (A2/55) are sent via a coaxial cable to the D2B telephone and TELE AID transmitter/receiver (A35/17) and vice versa.
