FLASHING OF ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (N3110)





This Service Campaign has been initiated because DCAG has determined that on certain mentioned vehicles (see VIN list) the engine control module (N3110, Figure 1) may have been flashed incorrectly, thus affecting engine emissions.





Included is a sample copy of a letter which owners of the affected vehicles will receive.

Please review the Affected Serial Number Range table, only vehicles within this range are affected by this Service Campaign.

Procedure

1. Prior to performing this Service Campaign, please check VMI in order to determine if the vehicle is involved in this campaign or if the campaign has been performed.

2. Pre flash requirements:

Please use SDFlash release no. 0004488102/0007, DAS-Version: 02/04 CD to perform this campaign.

3. Perform ME-SFI control module flashing (please refer to star bulletin: S-B-07.61/27a for flashing procedure).

Some screen menus may vary slightly.

4. Perform SCN coding after completing flashing procedure (please refer to the following star bulletin: S-SI-07.081001).
