1 Pull cover (4) out of CC cruise control switch (S40).
Cover (4) is a discontinued part.

2 Insert VCS switch (S93/2) in CC switch (S40).
Pay attention to installation position of VCS switch (S93/2). VCS switch (S93/2) must audibly engage. It is not possible to remove it later. VCS switch (S93/2) and CC cruise control switch (S40) form one unit.






3 Install new jacket tube cover.
4 Fit VCS switch (S93/2) and CC switch (S40) to steering column with screw (5).






5 Route cruise control switch (10) wiring harness to EIS control unit (N73) along present lines below instrument panel and connect.
6 Connect blue coupling (6) of cruise control switch (10) wiring harness to EIS control unit (N73).






7 Connect 1-pin, black coupling (7) of cruise control switch wiring harness (10) to existing plug.
Plug is located in the vicinity of the steering column.
