SBC Control Unit, Task

Tasks of SBC control module (A7/3n1):
- To acquire data concerning the braking requirements of the driver by means of the SBC pedal value sensor (B37/1) and the front axle pre-pressure sensor (A7/3b1).
- To supply the ESP with data about how rapidly the driver wishes to brake and the brake pressures at the individual wheels (via its own CAN).
- To supply the ESP with the vehicle speed signal (directly and via its own CAN).
- To carry out all control functions during normal braking.
- To perform all pressure control functions for ABS, ASR, ESP and BAS control.
- To forward the stop lamp signal (directly and with CAN) via the ESP, SPS and BAS control module (N47-5) to the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) so that the stop lamps are actuated.
