A Mixing area
The exhaust system is an all-stainless steel design. This enhances the life of the pipes and of the muffler housing.
From the manifolds up to the tail pipe trim the exhaust system is a single piece. This offers the benefits of lower weight and enhanced leaktightness.
The funnel sections of the catalytic converters are a double-walled design (air gap insulation) to reduce noise.
The pulsating exhaust gas in the exhaust gas lines is calmed in the common mixing area downstream of the two underfloor catalytic converters, and the noise thus reduced. After the mixing area the exhaust gas flow is split over two separate lines with separate rear mufflers and tail pipes.
The use of repair clamps permits partial replacement of the exhaust system.
