1 In the marked area (A) 280 the fender edge is reflanged completely in several stages up to the inside of the fender.

The flange which is not repositioned in the area (B) in front of the center of the wheel is to be repositioned slightly until approx. 170 mm above the sill.

A plastic-headed mallet must be used to avoid damaging the paint.
Use a hot air gun to carefully heat up the outer edges of the fender to a maximum of 70 - 80 degrees C.

Do not overheat paint when warming edges of fender (max. 80 degrees C). Repair any damage to the paint.
2 Post-preserve wheel housings with underfloor protection. The repositioned fender edges should be sprayed with cavity preservation.
