Function
When the AC OFF button ( ) on the AAC pushbutton control module (N22) is pressed, the LED comes on, the refrigerant compressor is deactivated (A9) and thus cooling is switched off . The air is no longer cooled and dried.
All other functions are retained.
The pollutant-controlled recirculated air function is not available in AC OFF mode.

In order to switch off the refrigerant compressor (A9) the AAC pushbutton control module (N22) issues a switch-off request over the CAN data bus and the specified value = 0 % to the driver side SAM control module (N10/10). At the same time, the refrigerant compressor torque is set to "0" and transferred to the engine electronics and the electronic transmission control via the EIS control module (N73). The driver side SAM control module (N10/10) sends the canceled load increase signal to the engine electronics via the EIS control module (N73) and switches the refrigerant compressor (A9) off after a defined time delay.
