The STH radio remote control transmitter (A8/3) can be used to switch the heater or ventilation mode in the stationary heater (STH) on or off. The range of the STH radio remote control transmitter (A8/3) is approx. 300 m.
External influences such as:
^ radio interference
^ solid obstacles or
^ transmitting in enclosed premises
serve to reduce the range.

Status display of batteries in the STH radio remote control transmitter (A8/3)
If one of the transmit keys is actuated (ON, OFF), then the integrated LED is actuated depending on the state of the battery.

Weak battery:
^ LED lights up in yellow (up to 30.5.04)
^ LED flashes on and off in yellow (as from 1.6.04)

Used batteries:
^ LED flashes on and off in yellow (up to 30.5.04)
^ LED lights up in yellow (as from 1.6.04)

Visual feedback signal (up to 30.5.04)
Actuating one of the transmit keys (ON, OFF) on the STH radio remote control transmitter (A8/3) is indicated by the integrated LED.
^ Press transmit key (ON):
LED lights up green
^ Press transmit key (OFF):
LED lights up red

Visual feedback signal (as from 1.6.04)
Correct reception of the radio signal by the STH radio remote control receiver (A6/1) is displayed on the STH radio remote control transmitter (A8/3) by an LED.
^ Switch on stationary heater (STH):
If the radio connection is OK, the LED then goes on for 2 s with a green steady light after the transmission time. If the radio connection is not OK, the LED flashes on and off for 2 s in green.
^ Switch off stationary heater (STH):
If the radio connection is OK, the LED then goes on for 2 s with a red steady light after the transmission time. If the radio connection is not OK the LED flashes on and off for 2 s in red.
